Purpose:
Ø
Missionary-We
are primarily a Missions fellowship. This is why we are so named and is
the main purpose of our organization. We support our designated foreign
missions with prayer and monetary gifts. We learn about their work, and
the country in which they serve. Our missionary families are real people,
with real needs, adjusting to new cultures and countries. Our white cross
is also one part of our missions, and a very important ministry. We
assist our local women and children’s associations, as we are able.
Ø
Fellowship-We
are a fellowship of Christian women, banded together to promote Christ in our
relationship to one another, and in our outreach to others. We are a
fellowship of younger and older women, which is strength rather than a
weakness. Our purpose in the church is also to do the need practical
things; remember those who are ill, showers for new babies, providing food for
funerals; helping in any way we can where there is an apparent need.
Above all, we need to be there for one another; to pray, to encourage, to give
support.
